After its highly acclaimed tour of China and Malaysia last year, the Sydney Symphony under Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor Vladimir Ashkenazy is again showcasing its talents on the world stage with a tour of Europe in late August and September.
The Sydney Symphony’s full ensemble of 102 musicians will perform nine concerts over two weeks at festivals including the BBC Proms in London, Edinburgh International Festival, Lucerne Festival and Grafenegg Music Festival in Austria as well as at the prestigious Concertgebouw Hall in Amsterdam.
The Sydney Symphony’s 2010 Europe Tour has been made possible thanks to the support of government and corporate organisations:
