Q: I've lost my tickets, what do I do?
Missing ticket vouchers can be arranged by telephoning the
Sydney Symphony on (02) 8215 4600.
If you need to replace tickets at a Symphony performance,
enquire at the Sydney Symphony Customer Service Desk. The desk is
open before each performance and is located in the Southern Foyer
of the Concert Hall or the main foyer of the City Recital Hall
Angel Place. Please note that exchanges are not available on lost
tickets.

Q. How to book concert tickets online?
Step 1 - Choose your concert
Select from either the homepage or concert calendar, then choose
the date you would like to attend.
Step 2 - Add to shopping cart
Your tickets will be placed in your shopping cart. You may choose
to continue shopping for concert tickets or gift certificates, make
a donation or complete your order.
Step 3 - Select your seats
You can choose to be assigned our best available seats or select
your own seats.
Step 4 - Log in
To purchase tickets online you will need to log in with your
Sydney Symphony online account username and password, if you have
not previously bought tickets from us before then you will need to
register.
Step 5 - Select your shipping preferences
We recommend that you receive your tickets by mail, if possible.
Shipping and handling costs are included in the online transaction
fee. However, please note:
• Tickets for concerts less than 7 days in the future are held at
the venue of the earliest concert in your order.
• Tickets for customers outside of Australia are also held at the
box office of the earliest concert in your order.
Step 6 - Make payment
Enter your credit card details and we will process your order and
send you an email receipt. Please retain this receipt for your
records.
Orders are generally processed and dispatched within 2 business
days.
Q. When is the latest I can book tickets?
Bookings through the Sydney Symphony close at Midday the day
prior to a performance.
On the day of the concert, tickets may be purchased directly
through the venue, however tickets are subject to availability.

Q. Do you provide discounts for group bookings?
Groups of eight or more can save up to 20% on tickets to a
single performance. Contact our box office for more
information.
Q. I'm a subscriber - can I exchange my tickets for another
date?
Sydney Symphony offers a convenient ticket exchange service
exclusively for subscribers. You can exchange tickets for a
performance on another date or a concert in another series during
the concert season.
Subscription tickets may be exchanged up to three working days
before the performance for which tickets were originally
issued.
Original tickets must be presented to the Sydney Symphony at
least 3 working days prior to a performance.
Simply return your tickets in person to the Sydney Symphony Box
Office, Clocktower Square, cnr Harrington & Argyle Streets, The
Rocks NSW 2000 (enter from Argyle St) at least three working days
before the concert you were originally to attend.

Please note: you can only exchange tickets with the Sydney
Symphony Box Office. The Sydney Opera House does not offer this
service.

Q. How do I collect my tickets?
For bookings made more than 7 days before a concert tickets can
be posted to Australian addresses.
Tickets can be picked up from the Sydney Symphony box office
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm or on the day of your performance, 3
hours before your performance. Tickets can also be collected from
the venue on the day of the concert from 1 hour before the
performance.
Q. Am I eligible for concession pricing?
Concession-priced tickets are available to current holders of
means-tested Australian pensions (Aged, Disability, Veterans'
Affairs, Supporting Parent) and Australian full-time students.
Proof of concession eligibility must be supplied when collecting
tickets and may be required prior to admission to each concert.
