Q. What is ‘My Account’?

To book tickets online you must first create a Sydney Symphony online account. Your account stores information such as your mailing and billing addresses and allows you to choose how you would like the Sydney Symphony to contact you – whether by email, post or phone.

Q. How do I create my account’?

If you are purchasing tickets online for the first time you will be prompted to create an account. Simply enter the required information and select a password that you will be able to easily recall. You will receive an email confirming your registration has been accepted.

Next time you wish to book tickets simply enter your email address and your password.

Q. I've been given a 'promotion code' for use when booking tickets. What's this?

When booking via phone, quote the promotion code when you call.  If you are booking online, you must enter the four-digit promotion code number when you log in to your account otherwise the special offers will not display.

Subscribers receive a 10% discount on most performances when booking online. You will need to use the promotion code supplied to you with your subscription pack to obtain this discount.

Q. I’ve purchased tickets online at sydneysymphony.com in the past, do I have an account already?

Yes! We have created an account for you and have assigned you with a temporary password. To find out your temporary password visit ‘forgotten password’.

Enter your email address in the space and we will email you your password. We recommend that you change your password by editing your account preferences after you log on for the first time. If you are unsure which email address you provided last time you purchased tickets from us online, please call Sydney Symphony Customer Relations on 8215 4600 Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm or email info@sydneysymphony.com.

Q. I forgot my password, can you tell me what it is?

If you forget your password, click on the ‘forgot your password’ link below the log in area on the My Account page. Enter your email address and press ‘retrieve account information’. Your password will be emailed to you.

Q. How do I change my password and other details?

Click the log in button on the top right of the page and click on 'forgot your password'.

Q. When I try to create a Sydney Symphony Online account, or when I try to buy tickets, I get an error message indicating that I cannot use my email address because it already exists in the system. What does this mean?

Our ticketing system requires that all online profiles have a unique email address. If you receive this error, it means that there is another account in the ticketing system with this email address. If you are creating a new account, it is entirely likely that there is already an account you can activate by using the ‘forgot your password?’ feature to retrieve your password and logging in.

If you are purchasing tickets and you receive this error, it means that you have previously purchased tickets with a different account, but with the same email address. If this is the case, you may want to log in using that account. Otherwise, please contact our Box Office on (02) 8215 4600, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday to review how to use the email address with your desired Sydney Symphony Online account.
