Taking audiences on a musical journey of discovery with its amazing multi-media experiences and innovative programmes, this fourth season series is true to the original mission: to create fascinating music events that inspire and change the way we think about orchestral music. From Tan Dun’s groundbreaking and visually mesmerizing concertos, Lalo Schifrin’s Jazz Meets the Symphony, to Symphony at the Movies, the powerful presence of smooth and swinging Dianne Reeves, and the dramatic Russian Fire and Fury, these programmes should make for many memorable evenings.
