Support Your Sydney Symphony
Becoming a patron of the Sydney Symphony, by giving a gift, is about feeling connected. Being a patron connects you to the many beneficiaries of the Sydney Symphony's programs. These beneficiaries include teachers, school students, young artists and audience members, all of whose lives are enriched by the programs that our patrons make possible.
The Sydney Symphony has four philanthropic funds that support our different activities. Depending on your area of personal interest, you can decide how you would like to help the Orchestra. More information about the four funds and the programs they support can be found at the links below.
The Patrons Program
The Patrons Program plays a critical role in sustaining the Sydney Symphony's activities. Without the Patrons Program, the Orchestra would simply not be able to sustain the quality and breadth of its activities.

Orchestra Fund
The Symphony’s Orchestra Fund helps us realise the artistic vision of Vladimir Ashkenazy, our Principal Conductor & Artistic Advisor, and so much more.

Stuart Challender
The Stuart Challender Fund is an extremely important program for the Sydney Symphony. It was established in memory of the much loved and acclaimed Conductor, Stuart Challender to assist in bringing leading international conductors and soloists to Australia.

Penny Edwards
Penny Edwards has been a long term subscriber to the Sydney Symphony, and since 2005 has become a custodian of the Symphony’s Fellowship program, annually supporting a violin Fellowship position.
