Supporting other charities

In 2009 the Sydney Symphony proudly assisted more than 77 other arts, social welfare, education and health organisations by providing prizes for fundraising initiatives. This support was valued at more than $15,000.

The Sydney Symphony receives hundreds of requests for support each year and unfortunately we are not able to support them all. Our general guidelines, when reviewing requests, are to support fellow arts organisations, schools that attend our education concerts and organisations and charities with a musical objective. If you do not specifically meet these guidelines please still submit your request – we will review such requests on a case by case basis.

To submit a request for support, from the Sydney Symphony, for your charity or fundraiser please email charityrequests@sydneysymphony.com. We will do our best to respond to you in a timely manner. Please make sure you include the following in your email (incomplete requests will not be reviewed):

- Your name
- The organisation’s/charity’s name
- An email and postal address that you would like correspondence sent to
- The mission of the charity or fundraiser
- The date of the fundraiser/the date the prize is required
