On 22 January 2011 the Sydney Symphony will perform for the Sydney Festival in the very popular Symphony in the Domain. This year the Sydney Symphony joins forces with the Bell Shakespeare Company and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs for a midsummer's night of Shakespeare and music conducted by Brett Weymark and featuring John Bell.
How You can Help
On the day we will be selling exclusive Sydney Symphony torches to help celebrate the performance. Use it to help conduct the concert and keep it on your keys as a souvenir of the night.
The proceeds of the sale will go towards the Sydney Symphony's Stuart Challender Fund. The fund was established in memory of the much loved and acclaimed Conductor, Stuart Challender to assist in bringing leading international conductors and soloists to Australia.
You can assist us greatly on the day by selling the torches to the public before the concert starts. There will be two time slots, 4-6pm or 6-8pm.
Enjoy the Concert
Once you have finished selling, set up your camp and enjoy the Sydney Symphony's performance from a special roped off area with a fantastic view of the concert, wearing your exclusive Sydney Symphony t-shirts.
There will be special prizes for our volunteer who sells the most torches!

Register your interest as soon as possible and in the New Year we will send you an information pack. Bring some friends! The volunteer who brings the most friends along will win a prize too!
To be eligible to volunteer for security reasons you must provide your residential address.
