Hundreds of primary school students sang along to the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Seymour Centre today as part of the Music Count Us In initiative.
And, while they raised the roof of the concert hall, thousands more across the country sang along with them thanks to a live stream of our performance by the NSW Department of Education.
Almost 400 schools across NSW tuned in to watch the webcast of Shine Together, the 2017 song for Music Count Us In. In this video, students from schools including Campsie Public School and Annandale North Public School talk about what it was like to see our orchestra in action.
The SSO is grateful for the support of its Schools Concerts Partner Sydney Airport.
The SSO's 2018 Learning and Engagement program for schools and teachers is out now. See what's happening in 2018.
