What is your earliest memory of music?
My earliest memories of music would either be my mum playing and singing 'Greensleeves' at the upright piano in our home as a kid, or the tapes my dad would play in his car... Van Morrison's 'Gloria' sticks out in my mind.
What does music mean to you?
Music is a constant inspiration, both a challenge and its own reward. Good music sets off something in the human spirit that simply cannot be replicated.
What is your favourite Vanguard moment to date?
A couple of years ago we were so fortunate to be able to host a Vanguard performance in our brewery. The 15-minute improvised percussion piece, played for 200 guests amongst all the stainless-steel tanks is an experience that will stay with all who witnessed it for a very long time.
