Music education provides children with lifelong skills, including building team work values and boosting creativity. TunED-Up! and ToppED-Up! are our flagship education programs for primary school teachers. For teachers who have completed our week-long TunED-Up! course, they're eligible for our two-day refresher course – ToppED-Up!.
This year's ToppED-Up! was held on 9 & 10 July at La Perouse Public School, welcoming teachers from all around Sydney and the Central Coast.
Through six specialised workshops, teachers expanded their skills across percussion, musical vocabulary, conducting, leadership and programming. The workshops target key areas of the syllabus to build relevant skills.
