Q. What is my 'Account'?

To book tickets online you must first create a Sydney Symphony Orchestra online account. Your account stores information such as your mailing and billing addresses and allows you to choose how you would like the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to contact you, whether by email, post or phone.

 
Q. How do I create my account?

If you are purchasing tickets online for the first time you will be prompted to create an account. Simply enter the required information and choose a password.

Next time you wish to book tickets simply log in using your email address and your password.

 
Q. I've been given a 'promotion code' for use when booking tickets. What's this?

When booking online enter the five-digit promotion code number or word when booking your tickets to activate the special offer. When booking via phone, quote the promotion code when you call.  

 
Q. I've purchased tickets online at sydneysymphony.com in the past, do I have an account already?

If you have purchased tickets through the Sydney Symphony Orchestra box office then you will have an account. At the registration page please log in using your email address and password.

If you are unsure which email address you provided last time you purchased tickets from us online, please call Sydney Symphony Orchestra Customer Relations on (02) 8215 4600 Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm or email info@sydneysymphony.com.

 
Q. I forgot my password, can you tell me what it is?

If you have forgotten your password, click on the 'forgot your password' link on the login screen. Enter your email address and press 'retrieve account information'. Your password will be emailed to you.

 
Q. How do I change my password and other details?

Click on 'Account' from the homepage and once logged in, you will be able to update your details.

 
Q. When I try to create a Sydney Symphony Orchestra online account, or when I try to buy tickets, I get an error message indicating that I cannot use my email address because it already exists in the system. What does this mean?

Our ticketing system requires that all online profiles have a unique email address. If you receive this error, it means that there is another account in the ticketing system with this email address. If you are creating a new account, it is likely that there is already an account you can activate by using the 'Forgot Password?' feature to retrieve your password.

If you are purchasing tickets and you receive this error, it means that you have previously purchased tickets with a different account, but with the same email address. If this is the case, you may want to log in using that account. Otherwise, please contact our Box Office on (02) 8215 4600 Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm to review how to use the email address with your desired Sydney Symphony Orchestra online account.
