Europe Tour 2018

In 2018, led by our Artistic Director and Chief Conductor, David Robertson, we will travel from Warsaw to Paris, performing 12 concerts in seven countries in some of the most magnificent halls in the world.

We will be joined by violinist Renaud Capuçon and percussionist Martin Grubinger along the way. In a nod to Sydney Opera House architect Jørn Utzon, our European  tour will culminate in a concert at Mussikens Hus in Aalborg, Denmark.  This will coincide with the centenary of Utzon’s birth, and the 45th anniversary marking the opening of the Sydney Opera House – the iconic building that we call home. This special concert will feature Swedish-Danish cellist, Andreas Brantelid, as soloist.
