Roald Dahl's Little Red Riding Hood
A Sydney Symphony Family Event

Come to the strange, eerie, magnificent forest to discover a fairy tale that’s not quite how you remember it.

In this forest, nothing is as it seems… ‘the vibrating toadstools are just the beginning... I promise you’.  Roald Dahl’s twisted retelling involves one slightly dim wolf, thwarted at every turn by an eccentric cast of characters, and of course Little Red Riding Hood herself.

Composer Paul Patterson’s witty score takes its place next to Peter and the Wolf as a work that charms young and old, whether the orchestra is creating a magical forest or the burps of a greedy wolf.

This delightful musical fairytale is suitable for those from 5 years old to grandmama’s age.
