Vincent Plush

Vincent Plush has had a long and diverse career as composer, conductor, broadcaster, writer, teacher and events director in Australia, North America and Asia. In 2013 he composed his fourth orchestral piece, Secret Geometries for Canberra's centenary. The Sydney Symphony Orchestra premiered his first orchestral work, Pacifica, in 1986 and it has since had more than 20 performances worldwide. Well known for his advocacy for Australian music, he has recently returned to his hometown Adelaide to pursue his PhD, investigating the role of music in the life and work of Patrick White.
