Yvonne Frindle began working in orchestral administration in 1996, first with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Symphony Australia, then as Artistic Administrator of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. From 2002 to 2005 she was Artistic Administrator of Apollo's Fire in Cleveland, where she also presented talks for the Cleveland Orchestra. She is currently the Sydney Symphony Orchestra's Publications Editor and Music Presentation Manager. Her writing has been published by all the major Australian concert presenters as well as ensembles overseas and she is contributor to Limelight magazine. Known to Australian audiences as a writer and speaker, she also admits to playing the flute.
