It is with great sadness that the Sydney Symphony Orchestra acknowledges the passing of Gunditjmara and Bundjalung Senior Elder, songman and storyteller Archie Roach.
As well as a brilliant musician, Archie was a fearless truth-teller and campaigner for the rights of First Nations people and a unifying voice in the Australian cultural landscape. We humbly pay our respects to his family and loved ones at this time.
