Biography

Dana Lee grew up in Sydney, learning violin and piano from a young age before taking up viola at age 11. She is now completing a bachelor’s degree on viola at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Stuart Johnson and Roger Benedict.

Dana is an avid chamber musician and has performed in Europe with her string quartet as a recipient of the Henderson Travellers scholarship in 2018 and 2019 as well as in masterclasses with the Borodin, Emerson, Hagen and Doric Quartets. From 2020, she is an Emerging Artist with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and in 2021 will continue her chamber activities as part of the Westheimer String Quartet Fellowship.
