Dana Lee grew up in Sydney, learning violin and piano from a young age. At 11, she took up the viola and graduated from the Conservatorium High School with a double major in viola and piano. She is now completing a bachelor’s degree on viola at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with Stuart Johnson.

Dana has performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra and is an avid chamber musician. Dana travelled Europe with her string quartet as a recipient of the Henderson Travellers scholarship in 2018 and 2019. She has played in chamber music masterclasses for renowned quartets such as the Borodin, Emerson, Hagen and Doric Quartets.
