Joshua Cole

Joshua is a partner of an international law firm with 30 years of experience advising on general commercial law and cross-border transactions across the Asia–Pacific region. He frequently advises on high-profile international acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures across a range of industries, with a particular focus on transactions in the Digital Economy sector and is a leading expert on Digital Infrastructure transactions across Asia-Pacific.

Joshua has advised a number of boards on a range of issues, including corporate governance and transaction-specific matters, and has been a lecturer for the FT [Financial Times] Non-Executive Director program in Hong Kong.

Joshua has held a range of management roles at the law firms he has worked with, which has given him significant experience in handling “non-legal” management and operational matters.

Joshua has been heavily involved in music since childhood and was considering a career as a professional musician before studying law “to have something to fall back on.” He plays clarinet, saxophone and guitar.
