Music For Health
Connecting with the community in health care settings
Our Music For Health program brings the joy and power of music to those who may not otherwise have access to live performances.
For over ten years, we have been delivering performances to aged care homes, hospitals, and children with additional needs, continually expanding our reach to bring concerts to people across our community.
We regularly provide chamber performances for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, bringing music to children and their families across Sydney Children’s Hospitals. We also host an annual chamber concert for the Autism Advisory and Support Service, supporting children with autism and their carers.
Thanks to the generous support of the F&K De Angeli Foundation, we bring chamber concerts to aged care facilities and retirement villages across Sydney. We are now expanding the program to offer residents and accompanying staff the opportunity to attend one of our performances at the Sydney Opera House, with transport costs supported.
In addition to this, the F&K De Angeli Foundation support a new initiative called Concert Club, an opportunity for those who subscribe to concerts alone to meet fellow concertgoers over tea and coffee as part of their concert experience, and to enjoy a sense of community at the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
