Bridgerton, The Handmaid's Tale, Arrival, The Last of Us – the music of Max Richter has soundtracked some of the biggest films and TV shows this century.
Heartfelt, evocative and mesmerising, his music has a way of making every moment hit you right in the chest – especially when performed live by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, live at the Coliseum Theatre, Western Sydney.
Expect a concert full of feeling, with Richter’s On the Nature of Daylight – a ‘modern classic’ (Vanity Fair) – and Samuel Barber’s Adagio for Strings. Then comes Richter’s reimaging of Vivaldi’s iconic The Four Seasons: the warm glow of summer, the biting winds of winter, the soft descent of autumn and the bursting joy of spring.
With a 300-year-old icon reimagined, combined with two modern masterpieces, this will be an unforgettable concert – whether you are a lifelong fan or brand new to classical music.
