We bid our 2026 Fellows farewell with their final performance of the year.

Hear everything they have learned over the course of their Fellowship, and see the chemistry and understanding that has built up within the cohort across all their many hours of performing together in concerts of every shape and size.

Experience a diverse and intriguing range of works for small ensemble, making the most of the incredible talents of these superb young musicians, in this special public performance at the exquisite St James’ King Street, the oldest church building in Sydney and the ideal venue to experience our Fellows’ artistry up close.

2026 Sydney Symphony Fellows

In 2026 we are excited to welcome 13 aspiring instrumentalists to take part in our Fellowship program.

They will experience intensive training, including masterclasses with world-renowned artists, dedicated mentorship from Sydney Symphony musicians and performance opportunities across a diverse range of musical styles. Fellows will take part in chamber and orchestral performances, from mainstage concerts to Learning & Engagement activities and regional programs.

And this year we also welcome four Conducting Fellows for the first time, providing a crucial stepping stone on their path towards a professional career.

We extend a special thank you to our Presenting Partner, Coxswain Alliance, for supporting the 2026 Fellowship program.
