Alex Morris performs Boismortier

From his home to yours, Principal Bass Clarinet Alex Morris plays Boismortier’s Sonata for Two Bass Clarinet.
"When I noticed that a large number of my friends and colleagues around the world were turning to technology to allow themselves to create their art from home, and also to try new ideas, I decided to give it a go myself.
"Recently a bass clarinet friend of mine gave me a book of duets by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (transcribed from the bassoon). They're great little pieces, very characterful and fun to play. I find using technology to record with myself as the other player very challenging and fun to do. It certainly helps me fill the hours, not to mention motivating me to work on my rhythm and intonation!"
