Regional Tour
Bringing live orchestral music to NSW
In 2024 the Sydney Symphony Orchestra will again set out on its annual Regional New South Wales Tour.
The Sydney Symphony Orchestra's commitment to taking music to the towns and cities of New South Wales stretches almost as far back as the orchestra's founding in 1932. On the first Regional Tour in 1938, Australia's premier orchestra performed in Wollongong, Katoomba, Orange and Bathurst to celebrate the 150th anniversary of New South Wales.
The Regional New South Wales Tour is driven by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra’s commitment to the accessibility and enjoyment of live symphonic music.
