Four Episodes. Four Dancers. Four Musicians.
In response to these creative times of isolation we’ve partnered with Sydney Dance Company to bring you Cuatro. This exclusive four part series features musicians and dancers exploring different artistic conceptions of distance.
Each work has been produced and directed by Pedro Greig and choreographed by Rafael Bonachela, Sydney Dance Company’s internationally acclaimed Artistic Director. Each element was recorded in isolation at the Sydney Dance Company Studios in Ultimo, Sydney.
JS Bach's Suites for Solo Cello are extraordinary works, rich and full and utterly enveloping. Each of the Suites is made up of six movements, five of these based on baroque dances - and here that connection is developed further in this collaboration between our Principal Cello Umberto Clerici and dancer Juliette Barton.
