The Sydney Symphony performs Mozart
Here’s to Mozart
Join the musicians of the Sydney Symphony for this special celebration of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Venue
Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre
Almost two and half centuries after it was written, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.17, one of his best known, is as joyous and infectious as ever.
A special ensemble of Sydney Symphony musicians is joined for this celebration by acclaimed Australian pianist Daniel de Borah.
Mozart also inspired Franz Schubert, and his Fifth Symphony captures the spirit and lyrical beauty of Mozart’s music, proving, in the composer’s words, that “the magic notes of Mozart’s music still gently haunt me.” Unmissable.
