Mahler in Miniature

Mahler’s larger-than-life First Symphony finds fresh intimacy in Iain Farrington’s magnificent arrangement for 15 musicians, performed as part of new chamber series Crescendo, presented by the Sydney Opera House. The concert begins with the quiet contemplation of Charles Ives’ famously enigmatic The Unanswered Question.
