Biography

Joseph began studying cello with Brian Blake at age seven and in 2021 completed his Bachelor of Music with Honours at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, performing as Principal Cello in the University Symphony Orchestra on many occasions. In 2023 Joseph studied at the Australian National Academy of Music under Howard Penny. He has worked with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra under Chief Conductor Eivind Aadland. Joseph plays on a Giovanni Battista Gabrielli cello from circa 1770.
