Biography
Nicole Masters began playing the violin aged six, and soon after joined the Sydney Youth Orchestra and Sydney Conservatorium Junior School program. She went on to continue her studies at the Victorian College of the Arts School, Utrecht Conservatorium (The Netherlands) and Indiana University and the University of Colorado (USA).
After receiving scholarships to study overseas and participating in various international summer music festivals, she returned to Sydney where she became a member of the Opera Australia Orchestra. This was followed in 1999 by her appointment to the second violin section of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
