FOR STAGES 1–4

In this Australian premiere, Daughter of the Inner Stars is an enchanting live orchestral concert created for Stages 1–4, blending the magic of a live narrator and original animations with a unique orchestral score by award-winning composer Nicholas Buc and performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

The Storytelling Power of Orchestral Music

This bite-sized concert experience at the wonderful Sydney Opera House will transport students into a mesmerising tale of uncharted cosmic wonders, following our heroine, Fia, on an imaginative adventure where the boundaries between reality and the mystical blur into an enchanting symphony of wonder and discovery. Aligned with the NSW Creative Arts and Music Curriculum, it includes an exciting space battle, and a courageous rescue designed to inspire the creative imagination of your students and ignite a passion for storytelling through music.

This concert is supported by a free Teacher Resource Kit which will be available in advance of the performance, to help unpack the musical themes for your class.
