Sydney Symphony Orchestra offers a convenient ticket exchange service. You can exchange tickets for a performance on another date or a concert in another series during the concert season. Tickets can be exchanged up to two working days before the performance for which they were originally issued.

Bookings through the Sydney Symphony Orchestra close at midday the day of a performance or if a weekend performance midday the Friday prior.
On the day of the concert, tickets may be purchased directly through the venue, however tickets are subject to availability.

Mon–Fri 9am–5pm (with extended hours on performance days) and weekends from 3.5 hours prior to the start of a performance.
Missing ticket vouchers can be arranged by calling the Sydney Symphony Orchestra on (02) 8215 4600 (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm).
If you need to replace tickets at a performance, ask a Sydney Symphony customer service representative. For Sydney Opera House Concert Hall performances, they can be found 90 minutes before each performance at the specially indicated Fifth Window in the Box Office Foyer on Level 1. For City Recital Hall performances, head to the Sydney Symphony Customer Service Desk in the main foyer.
Concession-priced tickets are available to current holders of means-tested Australian pensions (Aged, Disability, Veterans' Affairs, Supporting Parent) and Australian full-time students.
Proof of concession eligibility must be supplied when collecting tickets and may be required prior to admission to each concert.
Groups of eight or more can save up to 20% on tickets to a single performance. This discount doesn't apply to all performances, so please contact our box office for more information.
Print at Home Tickets
If you've selected Print at Home Tickets, your tickets will be delivered via email immediately after you complete your purchase for most of our concerts. For some Sydney Symphony Presents concerts, your tickets will be delivered 48 hours before your concert.
For bookings made more than 7 days before a concert, tickets will be posted to your nominated Australian address.
Box Office Collect
If you've selected Box Office Collect, tickets can be picked up from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Box Office 3 hours before your performance on Monday to Friday 9am–5pm or on the day of your weekday performance.
Outside of these times, your tickets can be collected from the venue on the day of the concert from 1 hour before the performance.
Yes you can! Children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied at all times when attending concerts at the venues. Children aged 0-23 months at the time of a performance may be seated on a parent’s lap free of charge. All children occupying a seat or aged 2 years of age must hold a valid ticket.
